375 g flour
250 g sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
180 ml skimmed milk or buttermilk
5 big egg
375 g soft butter
180 g chocolate chips

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Butter and dust with flour a cake tin, 25cm.

2. Mix flour, salt and baking powder together in a bowl. Mix sugar and butter in another bowl. Add eggs one by one.

3. Add slowly flour mixture and buttermilk. Mix in the chocolate chips.

4. Pour the mix in the tin.

5. Bake for 75-80min until golden brown and crunchy on the top and the inserted pick comes out clean. Leave to rest for 15 min in the tin then flip it out on the cooling rack. Leave for an hour.

6. Dust with sugar.

P.S. Oh, this was a winner at the party, even if it is a bomb of sugar and butter and chocolate. Best served with a glass of milk! This is for you chocolate lovers!!

Enjoy, K.
