CRUMBLE CAKE WITH SOUR CREAM

FOR THE CRUMBLE002 copy
50 g plain flour
50 g brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
60 g cold butter
50 g various crushed nuts

FOR THE CAKE
300 g plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
250 g soft butter
200 g brown sugar
3 big eggs
250 ml sour cream

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C. Prepare a cake tin (33×23 cm).

Make the crumble: mix flour, sugar, and spices. Add butter, mix till crumble forms. Add nuts.

Make the dough: mix flour, baking powder, cinammon and salt in a bowl.

In another bowl, cream butter with sugar. Add egss one by one. Then slowly in turns add flour mix and sour cream.

Pour the mix in the tin. Top it with the crumble.

Bake for 50-60 min, till it does not stick to an inserted wooden pick.

Let it rest for 10 min in the tin. Serve it warm.
