200 g plain flourABOLU
50 g cacao
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
125 g soft butter
150 g sugar
2 eggs
250 g apple puree (the one that looks like baby food)

90 g bitter chocolate flakes
50 g roughly chopped walnuts

1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C. Prepare 20×20 cake tin.
2. Mix flour, cacao, baking powder, salt in a bowl.
3. Whip butter and sugar in another bowl. Ad eggs one by one.
4. Add flour mix and apple puree in turns.
5. Put the dough in the tin. (The dough is quite sticky.)
6. Sprinkle the cake with chocolate and walnuts.
7. Bake 30-35 min till it is firm and it does not stick to the wooden pick.
8. Let it rest for 10 min in the tin. Serve warm.


P.S. Last weekend we had bank holidays and I went to countryside to visit my mom, this was the cake I made for her.
