400 g plain flourimages
1/2 cube beer yeast
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp salt
250 ml warm water
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg

pistachios or other nuts or seeds (optional)

1. Activate the yeast with sugar and a drop of water or milk.

2. Place the flour, salt into a bowl, mix in the water and butter. It has to be quite sticky. Leave the dough to rest for 30 min in a warm place.
3. Heat the oven to 180 degrees C. Prepare loaf tin. Place the dough into the tin, paint with egg and sprinkle with pistachios or anything else you like.
4. Bake for 35 min till golden. Remove from the tin and rest on a wire rack or eat hot!

P. S. Is there anything better than home made bread with some pesto or great cheese? And it is so easy to make.

Enjoy, K.
